Quick answers about how Surro Support
works and how we partner with agencies

Surro Support provides professionally facilitated virtual support groups exclusively for surrogates within your agency. Groups offer a safe, confidential space for surrogates to connect with others who understand the unique experiences of a surrogacy journey.
The groups are for eligible surrogates within your agency's program. Each agency has its own dedicated support groups so surrogates from different agencies are never mixed together.
Groups are held virtually through Zoom and are facilitated by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Your agency and Surro Support will collaborate to determine the number of groups offered each month and choose convenient times that accommodate different time zones. Surrogates can choose which monthly group works best for them. There is no RSVP required. They simply join the Zoom group at the scheduled time.
Topics are based on the experiences, needs, and stages of the surrogacy joumey. Discussions may include relationships. communication, boundaries, IVF cycles, emotions, pregnancy, birth, postpartum adjustment, navigating challenges, and connecting with other surrogates. Groups are designed to encourage connection, education, and peer support rather than provide therapy.
Surro Support adds another layer of professional support to the program your agency already provides. It gives surrogates a dedicated opportunity for connection and peer support, while providing your agency with attendance information and appropriate insights following each group.
Surro Support partners directly with surrogacy agencies. Your agency manages communication with its surrogates. including invitations and eligibility. Surro Support does not market groups directly to surrogates or mix participants from different agencies.
Yes. Each group is facilitated by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. While Surro Support's facilitator is a licensed clinica social worker in California and Nevada, the support groups are non-clinical and are not therapy. If a surrogate appears to need individual therapeutic support, Surro Support will communicate that concern to your agency so you can determine the appropriate next steps.
Yes. Because they are non-clinical groups, surrogates from any state can participate virtually.
Absolutely. All materials and communication are agency-branded so surrogates see your name, not ours.
Yes. Agencies receive monthly summaries with attendance, engagement notes, and qualitative insights.
Groups are offered monthly, and surrogates can choose the group time that works best for them. There is no requirement to attend every month and no RSVP is necessary. Surrogates simply join the Zoom group when they would like to participate. Each group lasts up to 60 minutes.
We use secure, HIPAA-alligned video platforms to ensure privacy and accessibility.
Our pricing includes a base fee per support group plus a per surrogate participation fee. Contact us to learn more about our partnership options and pricing.
No long-term contract is required.
Your agency provides Surro Support with the names of the surrogates who are eligible to participate in the support groups and confirm that each participating surrogate has completed the Sumo Support consent. Your agency does not need to provide confidencial case information or other personal details. Surro Support does not have access to your agency's confidential records or case files.
Most agencies launch within two weeks of consultation.
Getting started is simple. We will schedule a Zoom meeting to learn about your agency, discuss your support goals and determine how Surro Support can complement your existing program. Together, we will decide how many groups you would like each month and collaborate on convenient times. Your agency will then provide eligible surrogates with information about the groups and have them complete the Surro Support consent.
